Lots of visibility.
The more people we can influence to become curious about Bernie, the more supporters we will garner. Once people know what Bernie's platform is, many will join us. Bernie's platform is really how most people want their government to serve them, and their families and friends. As more people join us, and we continue to gain momentum, our numbers will grow exponentially.
The message is authentic, and exciting, and people are desperately wanting authentic in this world so full of corporate marketers and corrupt politicians selling nothing but smoke and manure.

Try to have handouts with you to give to people who ask. A sort of bulleted talking points kind of thing with information about how and where to join the local effort. Just so happens I'm working on one now (well, between peeks at DU) and I thought the handouts idea would dovetail nicely.
