Bernie back in April *almost* announcing his candidacy on the Nightly Show

It's a fun conversation but you have to skip to around 7:10 to see him get asked about running

For some reason, while he appeared on the Colbert Report several times, he has never been on the Daily Show.

That was when Bernie did his filibuster against Republicans.

After Bernie announced he was running for the Democratic nomination against Hillary (and others), however, Jon made some mean-spirited comments about Bernie. And not even original or funny ones. Just mean. Old, hair, etc. HOWEVER, whether Jon repented on his own or he got feedback or both, he did another bit on Bernie soon after that was much nicer, though it did end with his recommending Bernie comb his hair more often if he wanted to be President, or some such.

More recently, he referred to the photos of the five Democratic hopefuls as "Hillary Clinton and a bunch of other people."

I love Jon, but that's what happened.
