(10,345 posts)Anger is blind and deaf.
Rather than listen to a man that would speak to their solution, they would rather scream.
I understand that feeling, and they will eventually calm and listen. But Bernie handled it very well.
He understood their anger, and would not shout over them. It is a matter of the heart, and he let them have the stage as he left and shook hands. He was polite and understanding. Passive, and not aggressive.
Everything will work out.

(5,279 posts)That will never happen in republicanland, pointless waste of time. Democrats will listen, leftest Democrats will act.
Non-Hillary candidates are being targeted because security is not as great. Bernie is being especially targeted as his crowds are far larger and generally more progressive.

In June I attended a DC area Public Policy Forum on Rebooting the American Dream where Bernie was a guest. It was terrific and also not a campaign event.
