I think he'll do anything for the "3rd term" that Hillary represents.

and he basically pointed at the finger at matthews misrepresenting bernie's politics because the corporate owned msm wants to destroy the "outsider."

You bet, the SOSHIALIST boogeyman will be brought out many, many times as Bernie gains more recognition and followers. Fasten your seat belts, it's going to be a long and bumpy ride! Power always puts up a fight to any and all threats. Thanks for the great post!

Now they are both kissy faced at least I hope that's the right kissy place. So now it's Bernie's turn for the "treatment." I think Bernie is able to surf those waves and avoid the sharks.

He put the spotlight on some of the nasty things she did during the 2008 campaign. While there have been rumors about Olbermann coming back to TV, nothing really solid confirming it. I think if he did, it would be good for Sanders.

Would be good for the entire profession of journalism, thinking and reasoned people, and the remaining shreds of what's left of American Democracy.

It would also be good for those of us that appreciate Keith's enthusiasm and respect for all forms of humor, present and past. Stan Freiburg, George Carlin, Sarah Silverman, MST3K cast members, James Thurber, Bob and Ray, Jean Shepard, and many more I've forgotten, were all given respect and coverage during his great MSNBC run.

I don't watch Hartman at all, but he had very good points about how the media is treating Sanders.

Besides the obvious bias of the media which Heartman addresses, I think one of the other problems is that Trump is sucking so much energy up that he media covers him 24/7. My question is, when Trump's balloon pops then what happens? What will the media do?

(and when it does pop it will be a loud noise)

The GOP created this Frankenstein monster, and now can't get rid of him, and he is still leading in the polls. The folks at Fox News and the Koch brothers (who support Scott Walker) must be pulling their hair out. I wonder what will happen if it comes down to desperation time? When the Republican National Convention convenes and Trump is out in front, will they ban him from the Convention? Talk about stirring a hornet's nest... Trump is hijacking the Republican party, and they HATE IT.

IF Trump is pissing off the GOP, Fox News and the Koch brothers, so be it.. let the good tiimes roll!!

I think the longer he is in the race, the more it helps Hillary Clinton because those two will get the most coverage and end up going back and forth against each other. Then again, it might also keep the heat off Sanders but continues to limit his coverage.

I think people are writing him off too early. Trump Called him "weak" but that just makes him stronger. Bernie has, as they say in sports, "momentum" and is on roll. I wouldn't count him out at this point...Right now, in horse racing terms, He's in the "catbird seat".

We know how fundamentally dishonest these defenders of the establishment are.

Matthews was one of the big media anti-Clinton guard dogs back in the 1990s. We all now know what the "Get Clinton" outrage was all about. It was a gigantic organized smoke screen. Smoke screens like that are not created by the media. Smoke screens like that are created by a state's intelligence mechanism. While everyone was running around screaming about Bill Clinton's distasteful dalliances he was signing one horrible piece of right wing legislation after another—NAFTA, the Telecommunications Act and Gramm-Leach-Bliley.

Matthews plays a variety of roles depending on what his employers want out of him on that particular day.
