Become a Founding Member of Bernie's Pack (sic) for as little as $5 a month!

Bernie Sanders for President

merrily -

Nearly every candidate for president is going to have a Super PAC—those shadowy, unaccountable groups that can raise unlimited amounts of money in the billionaires' quest to buy our democracy.

Every candidate except for Bernie, that is. That's because Bernie is going to have a Super PACK of supporters who take on the billionaire class.

We're asking you, merrily, to join our Super PACK. All you have to do to join is make a monthly contribution to our campaign.

Click here to join Bernie's Super PACK with a $5 monthly contribution to our campaign.

When you join Bernie's Super PACK, we'll also send you this great sticker so you can let your friends and neighbors know how you're taking on the billionaires. Bernie's Super PACK: Founding Member

Monthly contributions are so critical to our campaign. The reason we're asking you to give monthly is because it gives Bernie's campaign a sustained, predictable source of revenue.

Knowing that every month we'll be able to count on contributions from our Super PACK means that we can build the organization we need to win.

The billionaire class shouldn't be able to buy our democracy. But they're trying. So far, Super PACs have raised nearly $300 million, according to the New York Times. Most of that money comes from some of the wealthiest people in America.

In fact, donations from fewer than 400 families account for half of the total money raised so far for the presidential election. Thanks to the disastrous Citizens United Supreme Court decision, there are even shell corporations donating more than a million dollars a piece to support candidates on both sides of the aisle!

We may not have the billionaire class or shadowy corporations, but we have you, merrily.

Can you join Bernie's Super PACK with a contribution of $5 a month
?

Thanks for standing with us as we build our campaign.

- Team Bernie

Come on, now. As little as $5 a month to get a sticker identifying YOU as a founding member of Bernie's Super Pack. Yes, you CAN.

I don't want to get tough, but if you can turn down this plea from a politician who asks for $5 a month, and actually needs it, you DESERVE Citizens' United.

The only thing is, I don't know how this interfaces with Omaha Steve's link. Use OS's link anyway, though. It makes him happy, he has health issues, and we love him dearly.

1. Just joined Bernie's Pack for eight months, taking it to March 15. (Super Tuesday 2016 is March 1).

I joined for a sum I know I can manage each month, come hell or high water (high water being much more likely these days). When I am feeling especially flush and/or especially patriotic, I will send in an extra.

As the appeal from the campaign says, this gives the campaign ability to plan--very important for ad buys, which the campaign is going to have to be VERY judicious about.

Beloveds, I urge you to do the same.

Those of us who have been doing so since before he declared. Now I'm going to have to jigger around my ActBlue again. Oh well, it's for Bernie.

3. Maybe they will. Even if they don't, the only difference is one sticker.

If it means something to you and you don't get yours in a reasonable time, contact the campaign. I'm sure they'll send you one if you are a monthly donor. I can't see them refusing.

No jiggering needed.

10. I thought the post was about donating to the PACK

It appears that the quoted material had an embedded link but it didn't carry over with the copy and paste. I myself clicked the link at the bottom thinking it would take me to the page to donate to the PACK. I figure if I'm confused by that, so might other people be.

No idea exactly what is intended regarding Omaha Steve.

Edit: I guess I didn't really read the OP as I now see this as it was intended.

The only thing is, I don't know how this interfaces with Omaha Steve's link. Use OS's link anyway, though. It makes him happy, he has health issues, and we love him dearly.

I guess use both, and end up donating a few bucks more a month. Sorry if I added any confusion.
