In December of last year, I quoted a statement Bernie Sanders made as he launched his Economic Agenda for America, a twelve-point plan designed to tackle wage stagnation and promote high-paying jobs. We have a corporate establishment whose greed is destroying the economy, a political establishment which is beholden to billionaires, and a media establishment which largely ignores the major issues facing working families, he said. We need a political revolution.

(13,598 posts)1. I agree with the closing sentiment
(W)ith televised Democratic debates starting in the fall, (Sanders) will have the opportunity to introduce himself to a broader audience. Based on what weve seen so far, it seems likely that more potential Democratic voters will warm to his message.
As I and many others here on DU have observed, once a person hears Bernie's message, they become supporters.

I've been saying that every minute of every day, more and more Americans hear Bernies's common sense message...and jump onboard in support.
It's a storm that cannot be stopped.
Go Bernie!

(13,877 posts)4. A well-written article. The Tortoise and the Hare.
(I chuckle about The Hare pun.) Yet, being the The Tortoise, he's steady as they go and has the focus and intention to write the ending. While Hillary listens/pauses/repositions, he just keeps on keeping on.
