Looks like a good interview. Of course the interviewer wanted to compare Trump with
Bernie. Her answer was, I don't know I haven't been following Trump.

(19,537 posts)I think she really understands the landscape well, as to why most Americans are dissatisfied with what Washington has been giving them recently and that people of all political persuasions just want money influence OUT of politics! That is what will win in the election. Bernie is definitely there with that message, as well as a message of someone who's fought for that all of his life and a lot of political experience fighting that battle. Trump is trying to use that too, but has little political experience, so I think that though he's resonating with Republicans on this issue, I don't think he'll resonate with independents and Democrats the way that I think Bernie will with independents and Republicans in the general election. I think if either of them faces a more establishment candidate, they'll definitely being stealing votes from independents and the other party with that frustration going on. That is why in my book we need Bernie in the general election. I think that despite what the corporate PTB want to have happen, he's got the best shot at winning for the Dems.

(4,879 posts)I am equally disgusted how the press keeps trying to turn the discussion to Hillary and the Donald.
Edit to add - The lady was magnificent.
