My husband, who is descended from Polish Jews on his mother's side, is also almost white-headed at 42. I guess it's a trait.

14. My mother in law's ancestors are from Naples, Italy. Her hair started turning gray at 18.

I met my husband when we were both in college and he already had many gray hairs, if you looked for them.

However, since one of my mother in law's ancestors was literally found in a field in Italy as an infant, some mystery is knit into the family DNA on my husband's side. On my side too, but that's another story.
