Just a quick note and update that volunteers will be canvassing for Bernie Sanders on street corners and subway entrances on Saturday, September 5th from 12:00pm - 4:00pm EDT.

1. Interesting primary. Early this time. April. Pitting native NYer....

vs. Illinois- Arkansas- DC transplant.

The local pols moved the presidential primary UP.... from June.... so that NYS would, presumably, command more attention from the candidates

Meanwhile the *local* primaries will be held separately.... in *September*. Presumably to make it easier for incumbents to stave off general election challenges. ( Less time for a challenger to mount an effective general election campaign.

Also to confuse the primary voters. ( "I thought we already HAD the primary in June.&quot

Despite the opposition of the ENTIRE DEM establishment, Sanders will do well here.

And might even win.
