Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders will make several campaign stops in Iowa this week.
Sanders, whose support has recently cut into that of Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton, will hold events in Grinnell, Burlington, Tama and Cedar Rapids.
Here is his schedule:
THURSDAY
Grinnell: 2 p.m. town meeting at Grinnell Community Center, 927 Fourth Ave.
Burlington: 7:30 p.m. town meeting at the Des Moines County Fairgrounds livestock arena.
FRIDAY
Tama: 2 p.m. town meeting at Meskwaki Tribal Center, 349 Meskwaki Road.
Cedar Rapids: 7 p.m. town meeting at Coe College's Sinclair Auditorium, First Avenue East.

BURLINGTON, Vt. U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders on Thursday kicks off a three-day swing through Iowa. The Democratic Party presidential candidate will make stops in Grinnell, Burlington, the Meskwaki Tribal Center in Tama and Cedar Rapids.
Here is the itinerary:
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 3
2 P.M.
Grinnell Town Meeting, Grinnell Community Center, B G Voertman Theater, 927 4th Ave., Grinnell
Doors open at 1:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Admission is first come, first served. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is strongly encouraged.
5 P.M.
Ottumwa Campaign Headquarters Opening, 105 N. Court Street, Ottumwa
7:30 P.M.
Burlington Town Meeting, Livestock Arena, Des Moines County Fairgrounds, West Burlington
