The event will be hosted by the University of Chicagos Institute of Politics from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and is open to both the press and the public, according to the Sun-Times.

Good gracious...every place Bernie goes, they need a bigger venue!
I think that's saying something BIG about Bernie!

(70,127 posts)about a year ago he did an exploratory gig in evanston, just north of chi.
it was word of mouth, no big push. it was $15, iirc.
the place was standing room only. and the crowd was raucous.
(lucky me slipped in at the last minute and ended up right next to the podium. got to crack wise a bit, and got to grab him at the end and beg him to come back to address our local party meeting.)
