(14,733 posts)Talking about 'risking his political life' in response to a BLM question? Major faux pas.

That's the second time so far, hope there is no third time.

(and when will someone break to Webb that he doesn't need more time - nobody cares about what he has to say.)

(14,733 posts)Pure prosperity gospel nonsense. The notion that they got enormously wealthy because God loves them. People work hard their entire lives and stay dirt poor too. And it's not because God hates them. It's because they're not in the 'old boys' network'. They didn't attend picnics with the Bushes decades ago.

(1,673 posts)Hilary may be getting more face time, but Bernie is landing more gloves on that face.
It would be nice if Bernie landed a knockout punch but as far as I am concerned, the match is over.
Decision to Bernie.
Well done.

(154 posts)HRC likely sounds like she is naive / careless, consistently playing into the hands of Bushco and the rethuglicans in her effort to not sound complicit in the neoliberal policies she actually supports.

Yes, Hill, we know you're a woman and the president is a man - we were looking for something a little less obvious.

(5,400 posts)The hard questions for Sanders have been asked, honestly answered, and now the horror of the unknown is gone.
His main opponent has not really gotten a handle on the issues that will continue to haunt her. Some od these issues are only starting to unfold as to their true import.
Sanders was a ship that never had to take such a public broadside. He is showing himself to be an Old Ironsides. The hits leave a mark but he looks all the more impressive for having been through the test of fire. Secretary Clinton has shown she can take a hit, over, and over, and over. It's impressive in its way, but the damage is having an effect and I see her campaign as listing from it.

Bernie was a mayor, 8 term Representative, and in his second term as a Senator.

(14,733 posts)I'm not wanting anyone to vote for me based on my last name...
True, because 'Clinton' is about as yawnworthy as 'Bush' to American voters these days.
