A gift from CNN

After the debate on CNN, there was a small amount of commentary, and then they handed off to their reporter Chris Cuomo for an on-the-spot interview with Bernie Sanders, essentially giving him a bunch of extra time to promote his positions before the large CNN debate audience. Maybe they went on to interview the other candidates, I don't know, because I was watching on the free CNN stream online... which only went up until the end of the Bernie Sanders interview, and then cut off. Every non-CNN subscriber who was watching the debate via free online streaming got to see a whole extra segment of Bernie, and no one else. I think Bernie lucked out on that!

As far as I can tell, Bernie was the ONLY one they talked to at that point.

I think he was fine in the debate, but I think he was even better at the end in that interview, more relaxed (naturally), and coming across more congenial, to people who may never have seen him speak before, while still maintaining the passion on the issues.
