Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumI have a Bernie story. More accurately, a Bernie T-shirt story.
Yesterday I went to Radio Shack to replace the battery in my car remote. As always, I was wearing my Bernie shirt.
The young man who rang me up said, "That's $5.99 for the battery and an extra 5 percent off for your shirt." He smiled, I smiled, and we gave each other a high five.
I walked back to my car, removed one of my three Bernie magnets and took it in to him.
"Put that on your car."
He was THRILLED! He followed me out of the store, magnet in hand, and immediately put it on his bumper.
Looks like he'll be visiting berniesanders.com. And it looks like I'll be buying more magnets.

(3,233 posts)If Bernie backers want my Bernie magnets, they can have them.
The magnets won't be on my car, but we'll see them on theirs.
I can buy more magnets. (I was planning to regardless.) And I'll bet that young man will buy a few, too.
