I have to share an acid flashback --

I was going through some papers and ran across a a copy of an email I sent to the Clinton campaign in '08. It was a good reminder of just what she was willing to do to win, and a cautionary tale of what we can look forward to in this primary:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Dear Senator Hillary Clinton:
Congratulations! You've made me do something I never thought I would do -- I just donated my hard earned cash to the Presidential campaign of Senator Barack Obama.
Even though your Iraq War Resolution and Kyle/Liberman votes had ruled you out as my candidate of first choice, I didn't (and still don't) find Sen. Obama a much better option than you.
But what, you might ask, would make a working class, white, feminist in her late 40s -- and someone who back in 1992 wished that you were the Presidential; candidate instead of your husband -- do such a thing as give money to a primary candidate she doesn't necessarily support?
The answer is very simple: the utter bilge you and your campaign have been spewing the past few months. The red phone "bogeyman" ad. The elevation of John McCain at the expense of a fellow Democrat. The positively Rovian request that Sen. Obama run a "clean campaign" when you yourself have wallowed in the gutter with your "hardworking, white people race-baiting. And now your attempt to manipulate the primary election outcome through your insistence that the Florida and Michigan delegations be seated as is, even though both States were in violation of Party rules, and Sen. Obama absent from the Michigan ballot.
I expect these kind of underhanded tactics during elections from the GOP, but from a Democrat to a fellow Democrat? Unacceptable.
I am sorry to say that after watching your 2008 Presidential campaign, I consider you to be dishonest in a way that embarrasses me as a feminist and a Democrat.
Wow, I think I was a little pissed off!
about the odious Kly/Lieberman amendment vote of hers. Just another case of very bad judgement on her part.
