Numbers of views of Bernie's first TV ad...

I saw this on Reddit and it really hit home how the net and social media are going to impact this campaign.

"Bernie only paid for his new ad to be aired in New Hampshire and Iowa, but thanks to social media his video has been viewed 575k times on FB, shared over 24k times and viewed 255k times on Youtube. In 24 hours. He may not have billions, but he has the people."

I still say his campaign is brilliant. They've been harnessing the net and social media like crazy...and they have saved money by not doing ads like that other person, until now. Of course there was the information that I posted about how his ad spread far and wide, beyond television.

There is lots of work to do nationwide but I'm simply amazed by all the sites, FB, Twitter, Instagram, etc. that people have set up. It's really exciting and can get people moving quickly (hard to believe how many sites and people put out the call for donations, to help pay for the ads...I would love to know how much came in over the last couple days).

Thanks for noticing the post!
