3. Why do they hate us?!

Because our corporations keep getting involved in their politics, committing mass murder
by using the US military to bomb them back to the stone age. Why does anybody have
to ask this question? Isn't it obvious?

We are a self-loathing people, not like the Germans, whose self-opinion could be toned down with a little humility.

This explains the wasteful stupid things that we as a nation do. When we stop doing these things (it happens, for short periods of time), other nations like us. But it's been a long time since the last time, and the other people are getting really tired of us.
