Just got an email from Democracy for America, after voting in their online poll.

I voted for Bernie. They asked me to reconsider and vote for Hillary.
To hell with them. Unsubscribed and told them why. I will not support war and Wall Street and the Third Way.
What a cheesy way to do things, trolling for Bernie's supporters. Ugh.

edited to add - the email was from Hillary and Dean, under the DFA logo. Messages from Hillary and from Dean.

he received a letter from Bernie. He too was confused. Asked if he needed to
vote twice. I told him he would receive one from the Hillary campaign and the
O'Malley campaign.

The ethical superiority of Bernie Sanders campaign is so obvious.

Given the overt effort by the corporate elite to stifle his popularity, I wonder if there are any thoughtful supporters of the Clinton Campaign that would reconsider their support?

Then I saw this. Nina Turner changes her mind on Hillary Clinton, endorses Bernie Sanders for president, and I realized that there are.

This explains what happened:

When I tried to vote for Bernie I got this message:
The change you wanted was rejected.

Maybe you tried to change something you didn't have access to.

If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.

I just filled in my name, email address and zip code then pressed the vote button and got the above. Is something wrong with the page?

This time the vote was preset on Hillary and I changed it to Bernie. The page was different. On the page from Bernies email the line up was horizontal, on the Hillary/Dean page it was a vertical lineup, Bernie to the left slightly out of line.

SAMPLE EMAIL YOU CAN SEND TO YOUR FRIENDS:

Hi,

I just cast my vote for Bernie Sanders in Democracy in America's Democratic presidential primary endorsement poll — do you want to make your voice heard, too?

DFA will only endorse in this presidential primary if there is overwhelming support for one candidate. In order to win, a candidate must reach the super-majority threshold of 67% (two-thirds of votes cast, or 66.67% to be technical about it).

If DFA endorses, they plan to hit the ground running, devoting real resources — people, time and money — to helping the winning candidate capture the nomination.

A lot is riding on this crucial endorsement poll — please cast your vote now, then share it with your like-minded friends and family. DEADLINE: 11:59pm ET on Tuesday, December 15.

Thanks for casting your vote!

I take it you didn't read the entire message. It said we would receive 3 emails. We
could change our vote up until the last day. No big deal. I voted for Bernie (of course)
and I just delete the emails as they come up. My brother did the same thing only his first
email was from Bernie and he already voted for Bernie. He was puzzled and was wondering
if he should vote twice. I guess he didn't read the entire message either. Everybody is freaking
out over this confusion. Stay the course and vote for Bernie!
