I was thinking, in light of all the DNC/Clinton shenanigans, I should start referring

to Bernie in any of my posts as "Bernie Sanders, the presumptive nominee". I mean, if HRC can extrapolate somehow getting there from where she is, surely the actual clear front-runner should be afforded the same courtesy. Plus it has a nice ring to it. Bring on the primaries, we are ready!

and I do my best to avoid and ignore the Unhinged, but the Unhinged are degrading the quality of everyone's participation in DU, and those who make the rules seem to be ignoring this process totally, if not actually supporting it.

The end result can only be the dissolution of DU. Nobody pays good money to be insulted, slandered, banned and censored. And without money, DU becomes somebody's expensive hobby, an article of vanity.

Without its good, strong thinkers, DU becomes an organ of propaganda and Group Think, not one of public discourse. And it's more than halfway there already.

When 100 people get to boss around thousands, that's not democracy. That's a revolution in the making. And as in the larger world, so in this smaller one.

You are the first outside of the economy group to express any positive feeling to me.

"Don't worry about your competition.... Let your competition worry about you!"

I really don't care what Hillary or her supporters think one way or the other.

And my thoughts on the General Election are simply that the Democrats can run a cardboard box and beat any of the GOP candidates that we see or might potentially see.
