Bernie Sanders
Related: About this forumAnyone have any thoughts on Bernie's V.P.?
(Knock on wood, Sailors are superstitious, don't want to jinx it) Just to kick it around a bit and see if we have any other ideas other than the usual suspects. Don't get me wrong E.W, would be great, but are we maybe overlooking anyone? I'll stop in after work and see whats come up.

(16,847 posts)I think Bernie might surprise us. I think he would want to put Warren to good use as Treasury Sec. or Fed Chairman. I think an Hispanic running mate would make an excellent choice, but I don't know if there are any who would want the job. I suspect it's going to surprise all of us.

(41,600 posts)He's always been on of my favorite politicians. I never thought he'd ever do something like that, but...
I'm hoping for Nina, but I know whomever he chooses will be a good person.

(32,070 posts)but I am way pissed at him right now for his early endorsement of Hillary. Honestly Martin O'Malley might not be a bad VP choice. I'd rather have a swing state like Ohio or Florida but Sherrod and Little Debbie are not my favorites right now.

(5,069 posts)And thanks to all the above for not mentioning Elizabeth Warren who brings no age/geographic regional diversity to the ticket and who is needed in the Senate. Tired of that name coming up every time VP is mentioned.

(32,070 posts)could be a VP candidate. Swing state. Repubs will have Brian Sandoval from Nevada if they are at all paying attention.
