I took the Indivisible Grassroots Pledge

So should you.

To much matters now.

It has all come down to this moment in time.

Fight for your primary candidate's ideas and policies.

Not on the backs of their opponents.

Once we have a General Election candidate.

That is who we are and our mission.

DEFEAT TRUMP AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY.

take the pledge:

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I want to be able to fight back if ppl cast asparagus at my candidate.

Silly season is interesting here. It helps one find out the true character of some DU members.

And I may not stick with the candidate I am backing at the present time. It is early.

It's about showing a united front to defeat trump, not defeat each other.

Majority of candidates have signed that pledge, including Senator Harris.

It does mean something.

even before there was an official pledge. This has been my own pledge my whole life. Vote Dem...ALWAYS and get 100% behind whoever the primary candidate is. Period.

When my 95 year old very Dem grandmom was pissed off that Hillary was not the Dem candidate in 2008 and she wasn't going to vote I gave her Hell and she did finally vote. In 2016 a Dem friend wrote in Bernie's name since she thought Hillary was a shoe-in and wanted to make a political statement. I almost stopped talking to her (I found this out AFTER the election). You ALWAYS VOTE and ALWAYS VOTE DEM!

Its more than that. It's about keeping it about policy and not about people, even during the primaries.
We don't have to agree, we just agree to not take it personal.

I want Senator Harris to be president but I'm not going to debase or degrade other candidates to do it.

Personally, I find that the personality arguments really turn me off and are more of a negative than a positive for whichever candidate they are trying to promote.

I wasn't even aware that DU existed until after 2016 and wasn't around for the fights that I have read about since. I try not to get into those discussions. If you can't say something nice or neutral than I do not want to get involved in the discussion.
