It sounds like a dodge. It sounds like he doesn't have an answer... like he was caught off-guard.

Maybe it's "just-me", but I kinda think it's important that someone who's vying to be the leader of the free world should be more prepared than this.

It's not like this is a surprise development, it's not like there hasn't been enough TIME to analyze the situation and formulate a plan/theory/policy/direction or even a desired outcome and how to implement it.

With dodgy responses like that, and in consideration of the fact that more people are paying attention... it's little wonder that his poll numbers are cratering.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Excellent example: She-the-People! BS was a complete failure at that conference and everyone knew it. That was the general, widespread and accepted consensus among most reasonable observers, reporters and pundits. (Only one sub-group, obviously, though it was the greatest thing since paper napkins... but that's a discussion for Carolyn's.)

In any case... all I'm trying to say here is that it's becoming clearer and clearer which candidates have depth and vision and understanding... and which ones just have rote and repetitive "talking points".

What I'm seeing is that the American People are looking for actual solutions, not just a laundry list of what we "oughta" and "needta" be doing. Anyone can list problems... it takes someone with vision and acumen to ALSO be able to solve the problems in a realistic way.

Going one step further, it takes even MORE skill to understand what's possible and what's not... to be able to anticipate the costs, and to be willing to compromise and find common ground in order to get there.

Honestly, I'm just not seeing those qualities in BS. I guess I just have higher expectations when it comes to what I want in a nominee. Clearly, I'm not alone.

This is just the same old Bernie, lots of great talk, but not much on how to do all the things he talks about. This is why Warren is going to take a lot of Bernies voters from him, she has the plans, and she has written down "how to actually do those things". She isn't just all talk.

You're right about that. Warren isn't my choice at the moment but it's SO ABUNDANTLY CLEAR that she's got BS beat by a mile when it comes to ACTUAL plans... that are REALISTIC. She spells out what the goal is, and how she wants to get there, and how it's going to happen, and how much it's going to cost, and how long it will take.

Now that people are starting to pay attention, they can see how ill-prepared BS is and they're looking for more than hearing the same old talking points (without specifics) and the same old stump speech (lacking vision or plans). It's little wonder that the BS poll numbers are cratering.

All I'm saying is that if Biden has DOUBLE the poll numbers that BS does in New Hampshire, this race is over for him. He may as well ease out now before it gets to be too much of a "bloodbath" (so to speak). There aren't any "Mercy Rules" in politics, so this may get ugly.

Harris and Inslee are pretty much tied for me, but Harris probably has more of a chance than Inslee.

I do like Warren, and she has some great plans, along with actual ways to implement them, and I really like her ideas. I think she will take away votes from Bernie in the early states with "primaries", not sure about the few that still have caucuses, but who knows, she might do well in them also. I also think the other candidates will pull votes from Bernie also.

a weakness for his campaign. He was criticized in 2016 for the same lack of knowledge and presumably accepted the critiques, commenting that he was working to improve his FP ideas/policy stance for the current campaign.

It appears he has not put that time in after all! Telling the public to ask Obama is not a serious answer and simply indicates that the foreign policy questions are an irritant.

Too bad that 'irritant' is required when seeking the presidency.

This is another 'bad look' for the Senator from Vermont.
