Joe Biden Brings the House Down at Town Hall With Joke About Inappropriate Touching

Vice President Joe Biden drew laughs on Tuesday when he shrugged off concerns about his questionable behavior with women during a campaign event.

During a town hall in Berlin, NH, Biden noticed that one of the women attending was sitting on the floor, so he briefly paused and grabbed her a chair. The gesture drew applause from the room. As Biden offered the woman a hand to help her up, she began whispering something into his ear.

“Okay,” Biden said sheepishly as he pulled away from the exchange.

“We have a little secret going on here,” he continued, to applause. “I want the press to know — she pulled me close!”

Video at the link.

Look at how nice Joe is, and how much that woman appreciates his help.

Editing to link to a tweet with video of that woman explaining to the audience just what she'd whispered to Biden:

permission to hug a little boy. She misappropriated from rape and sex abuse laws, deliberately. So, yes, someone could take acute little moment that shows Joe and his audience’s mutual warmth and try to go ugly with it.
But I am glad to see him still doing what he does best, being himself.

Joe Biden will take the Trumpster to the woodshed. And only Joe Biden will walk out.

Biden's electability factor is a large part of his popularity. But it's not the only thing. His basic decency shines through as is the case with this clip. He doesn't hide it, shy away from it despite the nonsense criticism. He's true to who he is: a genuine caring individual and a very skilled, seasoned politician.

We're lucky to have him in the mix!
