The Biden Campaign

Biden just flip flopped flipped on the Hyde Amendment.

1. A week ago he suggested he might change his position from Supporting the Hyde Amendment.

2. Yesterday, he stated that he misheard the question and that he always has and still SUPPORTS the Hyde Amendment.

3. Today, he stated that he is now OPPOSING the Hyde Amendment because of recent Republican restrictions on Abortion Rights.

Three change of position in less than one week.

We are in the process of selecting our party's nominee for the 2020 Presidential Race.

Is this a "smart move to cut his loses" or does it destroy his credibility?

The choice is yours.

Personally, I think the wheels have officially come off the Biden campaign.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Enough, the media wants Democrats to fight one smothered positions heard ago.

All I want to hear is each candidates' position on healthcare, climate change, women and minority rights, immigration, infrastructure, building up the middle class, getting corporations and the 1% to pay their fair share in taxes, in inequality, voter suppresion, ensuring fair elections, voting machines w/ a paper trail, citizens united, a living wage for work, ....I could go on and on

Not at all interested in yesterday's battles. Looking forward to digging us out of this swamp for a promising America for all.

The first is from National Review and while I understand the objections they have video and I think it was their person who asked the question that started all this.
https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/joe-biden-flips-on-hyde-amendment/

It seems like only yesterday the Biden Campaign was clarifying that Biden had misunderstood the woman asking the question and he still supported the Hyde Amendment. Here is the Los Angeles Times reporting on it they have the quote and they talk about some of the other candidates reactions as well.
https://www.latimes.com/politics/la-na-pol-2020-joe-biden-abortion-funding-20190605-story.html

Then about an hour ago CNN was reporting on their site that he was no longer supporting the Hyde Amendment.

the Biden campaign released the statement. When there is a statement from the campaign I assume they are reflecting the thoughts and potions of the candidate. That statement from the campaign was certainly interpreted by Planned Parenthood and NARAL as Biden supporting the Hyde Amendment and they were quite critical. Do you think the campaign didn't make the statement or do you think they were mistaken about his position?
