You are damn right.. I want the person who can win this..

There are five or six who have a shot at this... I have some pretty strong opinions on issues.. but none of its worth the page I am writing on if we do not address the overarching issue of our time.. Climate Change.. and I am not talking about what we want to see.. but who has a plan to actually get there that can be passed..

Who can actually do this.. has the connections...knows where the bodies are buried..

People think the border is crazy now.. people have got to go where they can survive.. and they will come here and Canada, and Mexico..etc etc

We have passed the point of no return, it is now our reality and how we manage that new reality is what is important.. I want to haul up on their own petards the SOB's who have spent the last 20 years denying what is happening.. but there is no place for them to run either.. its their reality also..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I support Biden right now. He seems most electable.

But Warren is doing well also, and I like her too.

It's the loss of working class jobs to other countries, thanks to the large corporations.

Elizabeth Warren is the best on that issue.

Others are too but she really stands out to me on multiple issues. She's very clear in her communications.

in the 2020 election is the integrity/lack of corruption in our electoral process. It doesn't do me any good to agonize over which candidate to choose if it's possible for us to lose due to a corrupt election. In a fair election I think our Democratic nominee will win and I intend to vote for that person.

You are dead on, climate change, and all it's repercussions, is THE overarching issue for our times.

We Democrats MUST win in 2020, it's past time to enact real changes on the environment.

I think everyone is pressing so hard on candidates in the primaries because we all want to get a nominee that will actually win in 2020.

All of the leading candidates at this point have numerous strengths and , to be honest, several weak points. That's what leads to the differences of opinion here because we all feel the stakes are so high for 2020.

Cheers!

As long as China and India & others keep polluting at the rates that they are, it doesnt matter what we do.
We need nuclear power, yet people in the US are freaked out by it because they've been told to be.
Whatever is going to happen, its gonna happen. Its literally baked in, no pun intended. What we do today isnt going to change the weather in 2030. Its a pipe dream.

as well as massive unrest when people are starving. The rich bastards that helped to create the climate crisis will find themselves under siege by masses who need clean water and food, and a place out of the hot sun. I think it's going to be a lot like those old Mad Max movies in about 35-50 years from now.

South America.. who would not try and save their kids .. its the violence in some areas.. but it is climate change in others.. just look at what is happening to the coffee producers.. and I have had that same vision of mad max go through my head. the thing I am concerned about is future for my son who is in his early 30's.. he will have a family some day..why can't Washington look beyond today at the needs of people in the future.. someone told me.. and this is second hand.. that Trump said that climate change did not impact him because he would be dead before it did.. not a thought for his kids and grandkids.. just heartbreaking

Let's just say we need somebody that can draw crowds, deliver enthusiasm, and make people think it is a new day. Going back to the past is not going to work. Trump is a wuss, he had no problem calling names and had no fear he would get his ass kicked. He needs that fear. He needs somebody to come right back in his face.
