VP Joe Bidens schedule in Iowa starting tomorrow

Looking forward to seeing what VP Biden has in response to the tour that Trump is going to take of a renewable energies operation.. Old Coal loving Trump in Iowas renewable's industry is almost funny.. One of my favorite statements from Gov. O'Malley when he was running, was when he saw the big wind generator going down the highways (and you see them all the time.. they are HUGE).. what he saw was not slow traffic but great jobs in a new industry..

5. Old man George here - back in 1992 I got to see (and shake hands with) Bill Clinton....

....at a rally less than a quarter mile from home, then a few weeks later Al Gore at Wesleyan University. Then years later I saw Clinton again in 2010 at a rally for Dan Malloy, and in 2016 another rally (very close up) for his wife Hillary along with Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly.

Puts a totally different perspective on campaigns.

2. Joe Biden's personal appearances should bring his early poll numbers up in Iowa.

Caucuses are rigged primaries imo.

4. The Caucus goers in Iowa are usually the most ardent

of our party... and the most liberal activists.. because you have to have your hair on fire to go to caucus on some of these Iowa winter nights.. so caucuses are much better for our more progressive candidates.. but sometimes that does not play out in the general.. its a very convoluted situation.. I wish we were a primary state.. but they are trying something new this year.. a virtual caucus.. I am not sure how that will work out.. because I go to caucus in RL..

and I think his other stop is a fund raiser.. I just cannot imagine what his comment on alternative energies will be.. because he is so opposed to anything that does not completely pollute the planet..
