A proposal, a compromise. The Restorative President

Biden has been leading at every poll. Yes, only 24% - or so - but, ugh, this is how Trump won. Never more than 25% in the primaries.

Also, Biden has now moved into Hillary's rent free dwelling inside Trump's head. She resided there for most of 2017.

Thus, I suggest that Biden will declare that if elected, he will serve only one term. He will be 82 at the end of his term. That his only goal will be restorative. Restoring the sanity of this county, the dignity of the office (this was Graham's goal when he pushed for Clinton's impeachment). Restoring long standing agreements and relations with other nations.

And in 2024, the new blood will have the chance for a generational transfer.

OK, take your shots.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Good luck, and I mean that, getting the Biden Campaign to declare that Joe would not want to run for a second term.

My father died at 90 with all his mental capacities intact.

But we really do not know when and if such capacities start to decline. And having a president in his 80 may not speak to the younger generation, regardless of is young VP.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

If he wants to have some kind of unspoken agreement for one term that’s one thing, but publicly announcing it makes him a lame duck from day 1. It’s a fundamentally horrible idea.

primary today, I would vote for:
