Alan Dershowitz Declares He Would Support Biden Over Trump in 2020

By Aidan McLaughlin June 13th, 2019, 3:53 pm

-snip-

Dershowitz, appearing on the SiriusXM radio show of Mediaite founder Dan Abrams, spoke at length about the investigation into Trump and his campaign’s ties to Russia, and said he will vote in 2020 based on the entirety of Trump’s record.

“You’re not going to vote for Donald Trump, are you?” Abrams asked in response.

“It depends who runs against him,” Dershowitz said. “If Bernie Sanders is nominated, that would present a real dilemma for me. I don’t think under any circumstances I could vote for a man who went to England and campaigned for a bigot and anti-Semite like Jeremy Corbin. I don’t think I could do it, I couldn’t pull that lever.”

“And what if the candidate is Joe Biden?” Abrams asked.

“I’m a strong supporter of Joe Biden,” Dershowitz said. “I like Joe Biden. I’ve liked him for a long time and I could enthusiastically support Joe Biden.”

“Over Donald Trump?” Abrams asked.

“Over Donald Trump, yeah,” the law prof said.

Here come the "low IQ individual", or "failed lawyer", or "never liked dershowitz", or "dippy dershowitz", or some other 3rd grade, syphilitic, molasses brain tweet from the orange vomitron.

I'm just saying trump is going to start tweeting that he never liked dershowitz even though he's tweeted quotes from him defending trump. Basically, dershowitz just lost a friend.

I would tend to doubt it. 20+ candidates seeking viability would need to have a much better argument for being the party's nominee.

Not only is this vile man an accessory for Trump, not only is this vile man accused of sexual misconduct, this vile man cannot take any criticism of the Israeli government as that alone - criticism of the Israeli government.

He has smeared Black activists like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton here and in South Africa anti-Apartheid leader Bishop Desmond Tutu for daring to stand up for Palestinians. He has smeared our 39th President Jimmy Carter (who actually is the architect for 40 years of peace between Israel and Egypt). He is now smearing Bernie Sanders by linking him with "anti-semite" Jeremy Corbyn.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
