AND, has done a remarkable job with regulating the industry and addressing all the myriad of problems that have come up. Colorado has been the model gold standard that other states have followed, as a result.

and while I am not supporting him for President in the primaries, one could do a LOT worse. He is respectful of the public's views and will work hard to enact democratically voted measures-- even if he personally disagrees with them. How many in Congress and other state governments can you say the same?

I'm sure it'll be a comfort to these folks to have to fight a Democratic president on this.

Primaries are for sorting aspirants out on things like this. 'Electability' is a function of the primary campaign, more than some sense of entitlement based on tenure.

Touch the stuff.

BUT, I’m 100% behind the legalization because of the lives the draconian laws destroy due to incarcerations is much larger in numbers than anything the plant itself ever could. Especially since the application of the law is used heavy handedly to target and diminish minorities sooo disproportionately.

Completely unnecessary misstep. These are the simple ones a Presidential candidate should get right. I'm not necessarily talking about being "right" on the issue itself. I'm talking about not making an unforced error.
