(8,144 posts)went on for days, aggressively. They paraded one Biden critic after another while playing and replaying the Harris ambush.
Chris Jansing, Bambi eyes, looked positively personally affronted and angry when she interviewed a Biden campaign aide, whom she kept on interrupting.
But allowing any Biden supporter air-time was not the norm.
The only Biden support I saw came from his very young aide, given short shrift and treated rudely.
Ratings. Thats it, ratings. They were definitely anti-Obama in 2008 election contest.

(22,878 posts)whew.. and that is the crazy thing.. remember all the HRC people who would not vote for Pres Obama.. and they set up sights.. and promoted McCain over him.. it was insane.. but a lot of the people who are on MSNBC now were not there during that craziness..

I hope that Joe has NOTHING to ever do with that network - they are pathetic!

(22,878 posts)and they had a narrative going prior to Biden getting in the race, that , that day, the day he entered, would be his highest numbers... and he would be all down hill from there.. when that did not happen, they had their egos involved, and it got strange from there.. They are never going to be in his corner.. but if he wins the nomination.. then I think there will be a change of heart.. God I hope so.. otherwise it will be never ending incoming from both right and left..

(194 posts)interview disgruntled Bernie Sanders delegates who were adamantly against Hillary Clinton and presumably voted for Jill Stein or didnt vote for Prez at all. Not a single supporter or even a leaner for Clinton ever got interviewed by Williams so-called Road Warriors.
Accordingly, no surprise that MSNBCs evening and weekend punditry programs are currently working assiduously for their favorite candidates. If disappointed by the voters choosing one of their disapproved candidates, Lawrence ODonnell is the most likely of these MSNBC pundits to provide unstintingly strong support for the Democratic nominee due to his long-standing contempt for Trump.

(1,501 posts)I was there too. I got the impression he was not there because he knew the Bidens well. No rope line chit chat or photo-op while I was there unlike some of the other bigwigs and their families. Biden gave his interview to CNN for good reason. The network is Enemy #1 for the White House so I am glad Biden could support their programming to have an honest chat.
