https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S_corporation

S corporations are ordinary business corporations that elect to pass corporate income, losses, deductions, and credits through to their shareholders for federal tax purposes.[1][2] The term "S corporation" means a "small business corporation" which has made an election under § 1362(a) to be taxed as an S corporation.[3]

What a difference four years make when it comes to former government officials earning good money upon leaving office.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with Biden making a boatload of money - he paid his dues in a lifetime of public service and deserves to earn the best living his experience and expertise allows
him to. I'm just disgusted that Hillary Clinton was bashed relentlessly for doing the same thing.

Biden appeared to take care to avoid the kind of backlash that 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton faced in the party primaries for delivering private speeches to Goldman Sachs and other Wall Street interests. Most of Biden’s appearances were in less politically sensitive venues.

Fortunately, Biden learned from Hillary's experience, but I'm sure people are going through his financials with a fine-tooth comb to find something to bash him about ... and there's always something, usually something that was never a problem before until the GOP turns it into one.

As I recall, at the time of his VP vetting, his total assets were under $400K unlike most of his Senate colleagues.

I am glad his private sector earned income rose after his lifetime of public service. Unlike Chump, he has nothing to hide.
