Democratic Primaries

1. All but 1 or 2 of the candidates who are, comparatively speaking, will have to serve in other than Pres / Vice Pres positions.
2. Presumably some candidates are willing to accept high Administration positions.
3. Some candidates already have good positions in Congress.
4. At least one candidate (O'Rourke) could be a major candidate for a Senate place held by Republicans.
5. Some candidates inspire a broader range of voters than the rest, outside of their core constituencies.
6. Some candidates will be seen by some as over the hill, or conversely, not enough experience.
7. Some candidates will carry baggage, or their baggage has yet to be known.
8. Some voters want a winning Democratic candidate while others want specific policies and therefore a specific candidate.
9. There are spoiler possibilities with third party candidates.

Governor Jay Inslee, Senator Gillibrand Tom Steyer and Governor Hickenlooper will all be out by the end of October.
Andrew Yang and Marianne Williamson's candidacies. Nice try and some interesting aspects. Next to go.
Tulsi Gabbard. Other people will comment , I am sure.
Governor Inslee needs to be in a major Cabinet position or inner circle White House position or VP slot.
