Bernie Sanders reaches deal with union to pay $15 or more

...per hour.

Hourly workers were already getting at least $15.

The deal address that long hours of some salaried workers had meant less.

Generous healthcare benefits are included in the deal.

There is a reason Republicans have spent decades decimating them.

...than what most of the other big campaigns with workers not currently under a ratified collective bargaining agreement are being paid (e.g., Biden, Buttigieg, Beto, etc.).

Why?

There are jobs with Bernie 2020 and other campaigns which pay more than $42K and jobs which pay less than $42K.

Field organizers in those other campaigns I mentioned are still paid more. This was reported on in subsequent articles after the one about how Sanders campaign workers were disgruntled about their pay.

Biden $48K
O'Rourke $50K+
Buttigieg $42K

And it took going public for the workers to get a livable wage.
