Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumSome happy news for the Buttigieg supporters..
I posted this in another persons thread, but think we should support our other candidates as well.. You are not seeing this is the poll numbers right now..but Mayor Pete is getting a lot of good feedback from the coffee drinkers at the cafes in Iowa..... this is purely observational.. but I have heard this time and time again.. they will be talking about one candidate or another and change the conversation and ask.."Have you seen the guy from Indiana.. Mayor Pete.. they like his service record, they like his knowledge base.. he is from the midwest.. (always helps I have no idea what the next few months will bring.. but if nothing else, he has a bright future ahead of him.. and name recognition (though pronunciation) will never be his problem again...

(22,876 posts)really good, I have to admit though.. Mayor Pete (and that is what he calls himself) has really caught a lot of peoples eyes.. the odds of him taking Iowa.. pretty small.. Joe and Elizabeth have this tied up with a pretty red bow at this point.. and they have been holding steady.. its past Labor Day and people are setting their flags.. but he does have a bright future no matter what happens with Iowa
