Bernie Sanders better organized, more focused in SC than four years ago

(snip)

In the audience was Judy Dozier, a 68-year-old nurse assistant from Georgetown who said she was attending her first presidential political rally ever.

She likes Sanders’ view on Medicare for all, his opposition to offshore drilling and the $15 an hour minimum wage he’s championed.

Most of all, she likes his message of reaching out to those less fortunate.

“He is trying to help,” she said. “He is not trying to hurt.”

This is a good read but they do make one clerical error, " Sanders says. “The message of this campaign is ‘us,’ not ‘we."

I do not believe that "focused" is the most accurate term to use.

Don't forget... at is rally in North Charleston, SC (which is a MAJORITY BLACK city) only 2.5% AA were in attendance. That rally was also being held in an historically black church in a predominantly black neighborhood... yet the crowd looked like they had been flown-in from Vermont.

All I'm saying is... if he can't "connect" or draw enough interest (from the local AA community and other local POC voters) to even bother attending his rally to hear what he has to say, then that tells me that his campaign is doomed.

When a candidate wants to be the Democratic nominee, and when that candidate's message isn't resonating with the AA community... it's time to get a new message. Simply repeating the same thing over and over isn't "focused".

All I'm saying is that this suggests to me that the campaign has LOST FOCUS if they can't figure out what they're doing wrong, and if they can't make headway. It tells me that he's getting bad advice, or that he's personally making bad decisions, or that people aren't learning from their mistakes.

Or, I could just post it here. Is there any reason in particular that I should be discouraged from sharing my opinions, the same as everyone else? Why should I be bullied off of this forum with "suggestions" that I share my opinions elsewhere?

Look... I do not presume to tell you what you "should" or shouldn't do. Why can't you extend the same courtesy to me?

Quite to the contrary, even though I don't agree with you, I appreciate your opinions posted here, please continue.

I just thought if the political editor for the local newspaper in the city and state in question were missing something in their analysis, you could enlighten them with yours.

I don't see in your posts on this thread any direct rebuttal to the arguments brought up in the actual OP though?
