Okay I will admit this is pretty petty of me...

but if VP Biden gets the nod for our party and then wins the General election.. I will be setting off fireworks no matter how late it is.. (gotta warn the neighbors).. so if you read about a woman being arrested at 2:00 AM in Iowa for setting off fireworks the night of the election.. ahem .. you know who it is..

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

4. When Obama won I danced in front of my apartment building and banged pots and pans. I cried

and screamed like a maniac. I was the only crazy neighbor leading my own parade. I am in a quieter street in the suburbs now. I will really stick out.

Yes, I will be happy as a clam if Trump is ousted.

I will haul out the pots and pans again if Biden is the one he’s ousted for. That old lady dancing on
my front lawn will be me. Dancing and screaming and clanging away.

Enthusiasm gap? Not at my address.

We should all be ready to celebrate. I'm almost always the pessimist on election night. Unfortunately, I learned to expect the worst at a very young age. I'm going to expect great things this time! (Well, I'm going to try. Lol.)

Here's to celebrating together, 1,400 miles apart, November 3rd (or 4th) 2020!

...I order the White House Champagne glasses from Emily's List and bought a nice bottle of Champagne for election night.

I forget what we did with the Champagne, but those glasses have never been used - they're still in box they came in.

The ones inscribed with Hillary's logo and the words:

Shattered Glass Ceiling

I had my wine chilled and was ready. Sadly, none of us were able to make that toast to the future.

But I hope to hoist one in 2020. I'll have one on Hillary, then toast the next Democratic President of the United States.

Donald Trump be damned forever!

It would be celebration of a monumental victory that would halt the destruction of our Constitution and our American ideals.

And it would be no matter which of our great candidates reaches the White House.

And if we retake control of the Senate and hold on to the House majority, I will not only rejoice I will break into song with the chorus of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah. And then I’ll pop the champagne cork and celebrate the triumph of sanity over insanity. Then again on January 20, 2021, I will be glued to the television watching the departure of the Trump family of criminals from the White House. Or maybe I’ll even go to Washington to help raise the number of attendees and use one last chance to show Trump that the new president’s inauguration is better attended than his.
