I like Bernie and have seen him in person but his angry old guy act is getting, well .. old.

I don't recall him sounding exactly like that in either of the first two debates. Maybe he's fighting off an infection he got while on the campaign trail, or maybe campaigning at his pace makes him hoarse?

Productive is when you use it as fuel to make actual progress toward changing what one is angry at.

Unproductive is when one directs it at allies when they count on teamwork, and don't let one make all the decisions.
