(10,721 posts)Run for the Senate. I know it's a dysfunctional body and shouldn't even exist (the late John Dingell was right), but run for the Senate anyway, Steve.

(10,721 posts)Black folks will determine who our nominee will be. If Biden loses Iowa and New Hampshire, someone other than Biden has a great shot at winning South Carolina (and going on to have a very good Super Tuesday). Bullock will be out of the race long before we get to that point. Same with Tim Ryan, Michael Bennet, etc.
Even if Biden were to leave the race tomorrow, Bullock wouldn't stand a chance. Inslee had a better chance than Bullock and he had enough sense to drop out.

(89,185 posts)Bullock is term limited from running for Governor again. He should run for Senate but keeps insisting he does not want it.

(10,721 posts)I can understand someone not wanting to run for Senate, but I wish Bullock would anyway. Having both Montana Senators be Democrats would be pretty amazing.
If Inslee had thought he had a chance to become POTUS, he wouldn't have dropped out. You can't successfully run as (or be perceived as) a single issue candidate. Not when pretty much every other candidate agrees with your position on the issue and would address the issue in more or less the same way (with the same impediments) as POTUS.

(42,674 posts)Senate, just NOT influenced by Hickenlooper's large embrace of fracking and fossil fuels, nor Hickenlooper's abhorrent comparing of progressive Democrats to Stalin and Marx, and his saying universal healthcare is 'dangerous for the American people' lolol.)
