Homophobic Bully Franklin Graham Goes After Pete Buttigieg - Again

Franklin Graham is singling out and attacking Democratic presidential candidate and mayor Pete Buttigieg once again. Not former Vice President Joe Biden, not Senators Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Cory Booker, or Amy Klobuchar. Not Andrew Yang. Not former Rep. Beto O’Rourke. And not former housing secretary Julián Castro.

Just Pete Buttigieg.

It’s not the first time the Christian evangelical sometimes missionary sometimes political activist has attacked the mayor from South Bend, Indiana either.

And it’s not like Buttigieg holds policy positions that are so glaringly different from any of the other top ten Democratic presidential candidates that Graham was forced to speak out.

No.

Franklin Graham is attacking Pete Buttigieg because Pete Buttigieg supports same-sex marriage and a woman’s right to choose an abortion.

Specifically reading comprehension the ability to summarize and internalize content. Granted the New Testament is a collection of often contradictory observations, stories, rumors of questionable authorship which requires reading of archaic English translations. Not an easy task but Graham’s reading disability is shared by other Religions usually with an attribute of “fundamentalist” in the name. This includes fundamentalist Christian, Jew, Muslim and possibly other religious traditions. They are often able to cherry pick content but when it comes internalize the global meaning of written content they are lost. These people have a secondary symptom they advocate violence against others when challenged regarding a profound disability to understand what they have read. Even if you provide them with a summary they are lost. Often many who claim understanding of religious content can memorize details but have never actually read for understanding. In Franklin Graham’s case this disability may be hereditary or he is just an example of problems cautioned in the text he claims to follow.
