Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumI feel SO good for our possible candidates! I went to bed feeling, for the first time in a long time
that I was just a bit safer knowing they are here to take back our country and lead us out of this mess we all feel we are in (well, at least here at DU).
For some odd reason, I felt that Beto, in particular, had a real depth of compassion and strength. It's just the way he comes across to me.
Ditto Klobuchar. Maybe it's her midwest demeanor: down to earth, common sense, caring.
Booker: Strength. Passion. Can rally people in communities of color. I see him as a strong VP choice.
Warren: My choice. I feel she is growing on people who otherwise might not be paying too much attention at this point. I feel warmth and safety from her. She is my choice for our first woman president!
Harris: Passionate, unafraid. C'mon little guy, you know that up against her you got nuthin'. I think Trump is terrified by her and that's good!
Biden: I'm glad he's here. I'm glad to see him. He's not my POTUS choice but we need his talent going forward
All the others have real talents and can offer positive strengths. I like them all but here are my choices, based on my impression from last night.
I went to bed not feeling any real weakness in the talent we've got in our party.
Eyes on the prize, folks!

(39,374 posts)I don't think Democrats could do better than that frankly.
But, yes, we have an abundance of choices. I would add Buttigieg to your list, who is truly a gift from above. America is blessed to have him.
