When Medicare for All came to Australia (1983)

Public Information Ad for enrollment in Medicare in Australia. The man behind the desk was the then Labor PM, Bob Hawke. Medicare was, and is, regarded as the greatest achievement of his government.

Other countries have figured this out decades ago, while the USA still argues among ourselves over whether healthcare is even a right.

mass shooting. And they haven't had on since.

The Canadians also have a universal health care system.

What is up with us, the other country of British colonization? Why are we so backwards?
