I oligarch that paid zero taxes last year and makes his employees go into a emergency room to add a debt to their individual finances, while he got paid over............... and lets not forget he did the same thing at the Washington Post and those former employees are in the same boat....................

At the annual earnings rate Business Insider calculated — again, an estimation based on the change in his Forbes net worth year-over-year — Bezos has earned $6.54 billion a month, more than $1.5 billion a week, and more than $215 million a day in the last 12 months.Jan 9, 2019.........................what a complete ass.........................

She has better health insurance than I do (I have a PPO through my work). Got to watch those wide brushes because the don’t tell the whole story.

Amazon and similar companies need to ensure all their employees are taken care of - but to say that all of them are not now isn’t the truth. The problem as I see it is treating employees as different classes. They should all have access to the same benefits.

employees to work 24 hours a week to get health insurance.

I doubt there are many companies that provide a decent health insurance plan for people who work 20 hours a week or less.

This is a good example of why we need a Public Option with significant subsidies so that everyone can get into a plan with low deductibles and co-pays.

7. The company has had profits for something like the last four years.

Last year was $11 billion. Prior to being profitable, it ran up a big cumulative lose, unlike individuals and some small companies, C-Corps get to rollover 100% of loses and write them off dollar for dollar against profits, if the loses are large enough, they pay no taxes (as Amazon paid none on the $11 billion of profit - trchnically it was not profit, but it ends up being cash on hand regardless).
