BERN NOTICE: 5 Examples of Biden Literally Reciting Health Care Industry Talking PointsI'm

(Bern Notice is authorizes by the Sanders campaign)

https://bernie.substack.com/p/bern-notice-5-examples-of-biden-literally

If Joe Biden’s frantic attacks on Medicare for All seem familiar, that’s because a new analysis shows Biden is literally parroting the talking points being promoted by the insurance/pharma front group that is now spending millions to attack Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All plan.

During a Rolling Stone podcast yesterday, Bernie noted that Biden “is echoing what the health industry wants him to say...it is really disturbing that we have Democratic candidates who are echoing the talking points of the health care industry.”

That’s 100% correct, according to a comparison between Biden’s statements and the website of the Partnership for America’s Health Care Future. That group — which is airing anti-Medicare-for-All attack ads — is comprised of insurers, pharmaceutical companies and other health care industry players, and it has hired former Capitol Hill staffers to lobby lawmakers in Washington.

Biden’s full embrace of industry talking points follows a recent report in Vox noting that “the health care industry is betting on Joe Biden in its war against Medicare-for-all.” That’s not surprising, considering Biden’s deep ties to the industry.

And I was blessed to be at his town hall yesterday and see him speak to these points.

He even handed me the mic so I could share my own battle

Bernie knows this issue inside and out...

There's no gray area. You're either for MFA 100% or you're in the pockets of the insurance industry. This includes anyone who would like to remain on their employer-based insurance plans or thinks we should expand and improve the ACA as an intermediate step toward universal healthcare.

I'm being sarcastic, of course. Others say the same thing unironically, however.

Malign them badly, kneecap them; and when it doesn't work, whine about election being rigged by the "establishment" and then .. tout a third party candidate as an alternative because the Democrat losing would be so good for the "revolution"

The gullible wearing blinders fall for it.

We have historical data on this don't we?

Trump didn't win the last election and the electoral college that he won was based on a perception of him as a successful corporate tycoon.

If you don't mind, I am kind of reluctant to take Bernie's word for it.

By analogy, if Einstein's work on gravity is being parroted by the Military-Industrial Complex to justify their expenditures, does it mean Einstein is wrong?

Finally, I don't see Biden attacking Medicare for All. I see him defending Obamacare. And quite successfully, if you don't mind me saying so. You know, there is a difference between "frantic" and "convincing".
