I see only one racist on center stage for this election and that is Donald J. Trump

Not one of our Democratic candidates deserves that label. NONE OF THEM.

That is ALL I'm going to say. The implications of claiming otherwise are clear and devastatingly frightening.




For the few who wish, feel free to excoriate me as you will. I am in very good company with those across the spectrum who would agree with me. Thus, I feel good about making the statement and stepping away from the political side of DU for a while, as I fully intend to do. When I see movement from the circular firing squad, I will surely be back, whether it be days, months, or longer.

Of course none of them are racist and it's outrageous to suggest otherwise. I hate to see anybody take cheap shots like that for the perceived benefit of a favored candidate; it doesn't do any of them a damn bit of good and it hurts all of them collectively. All of the candidates have faults and shortcomings but racism isn't one of them, so to anyone who's tempted to sling that sort of foul mud, just stop it.
