of today's version of real toughness. Or for that matter, leadership. Where is he?

Occurs to me that, although that photo shows young people attending, even then the crowd would average strangely old. And, of course, what on earth is this bizarre ritual?

Connecticut...blue state and blue area. I have no doubt that EW would win a direct vote...but we have an electoral college and need states unlike New York...it is those states...blue wall states that I don't see her winning which means we lose the general...I would vote for her of course but we need an EC win. Nice that she has big rallies and all...just don't see that proving much in terms of electability...winning the general.

Of course, I agree with you. If any of our Dem hopefuls get the nomination, we will have to have a very strong Electoral College strategy going into the General. We know that now. Shame on us if we haven't got a "plan for that" going forward...

revered as our VP under our great President Obama. Warren has gone further, faster than I imagined she would. I am seeing her emerge as a leader apart from the rest. She is emerging before our very eyes and it's incredible. I see a different Warren today than I did a week ago. Therefore, I believe she will win the blue wall states and do better than you think.

Polls show her gaining strength in purple and industrial states, the last poll showing her beating Trump is every Midwest state except Ohio. Interestingly, the same poll showed her competitive with Trump in Florida, Arizona, Texas, North Carolina and Georgia. If her trajectory continues, it is plausible that she smashes Trump in the Electoral College. I honestly believe that she has more upside in the EC than Biden does, though both would beat Trump if the election was held today. The fact that the election is 14 months away is why I like her chances more than Biden, she has enormous energy and appears to have crafted a campaign that is built for the longhaul.

The rides to and from small venues in out of the way places. As her campaign continues to gain strength, the Press will start following her everywhere, then you will see what she has been doing in rural location. She is a force and her camoaign is well organized, her staff in states smoothly welcomes her and get her in and out of events.

It looks like she may have some type of security now, not Secret Service maybe, but tough looking men and women staying near her, I am seeing the same faces.

It's a perfect PR strategy and costs only her time and energy. Every selfie is a huge PR gambit
since you know it will be shown to others with excitement and admiration. Huge PR profit as a result! And such goodwill! She shows herself to be open to her followers and willing to go the second mile for them! Sheer brilliance!

But then they follow it up later with "selfie line went on for three more hours!"

If you have anyone that does social media work professionally - and I mean as their living - they're almost all wowed by just how effective this is.

That particular location now has a huge number of images tagged with Warren in it. And they keep repeating that at every location they go to. This stuff bleeds into all sorts of areas and builds.

The word of mouth gets information circulating better than other forms of media. (According to marketing experts WOM always beats ads).

And better informed people tend to vote for the party that has a better track record of not trying to screw them.
