I think this is the core issue: As much as she assumes that people DON'T like their Insurance carrier, IF she can find a way to accept private health insurance IF they want it, she'll overcome a lot of resistance and a lot of the worry that she's too radical to get elected.

(54,770 posts)And there is dental, vision, etc. No need for supplemental insurance, or unions negotiating for better healthcare benefits unless they want to cover cosmetic surgery, or something.
I'm for a Public Option, as most doable; but, assuming Sanders or Warren could get their plans enacted, not sure why unions would have a gripe.
They'd just shift focus to making sure corporations pay any savings out in wages.
