Democratic Primaries

Megan Svoboda, a DSA National Political Committee member and the chair of DSAs Sanders campaign committee, told BuzzFeed News prior to WFPs endorsement that while the DSA has focused on putting out materials on Sanders campaign, it could be open to distributing talking points about the differences between Warren and Sanders.
Im sure people would be very excited to work on that, Svoboda said. Its obviously an important thing, and we wouldnt endorse Warren. Shes a capitalist and part of the establishment of the Democratic Party and theres a lot of good resources out there that show and talk about the differences between them.
We try to show that all of our fights and campaigns are interconnected, Svoboda explained.

(10,828 posts)Warren's a scary capitalist and is part of the buzzword nightmare, aka Democratic Party establishment.
Good to know. I'm sure Warren's followers will love this, particularly the stale, knee-jerk delivery of the description: Oooooo capitalist and double Oooooo establishment.
The DSA should really try mixing the lingo up. Same old, same old is bo-o-oring!

(9,478 posts)Not even sure who DSA are- last I knew the major democratic socialist party was Socialist Party USA (SPUSA)
So it's best to stop being frightened by it and making it an issue. If the Republicans make it an issue- the reframe it as "A lot of deplorable people support Trump and they can't control who endorses them any more than we can control who endorses us".
