? For those in AZ, NC, ME, CO.

We need these four states to take back the Senate.
If you live in one of them, please tell me which Prez candidate you think would most help the Dem Senate candidate in your state.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I'm sticking with Klobuchar. Mid-west values, reminds me most of Obama as she has no drama. Will be able to work well with the new Democratic Senate. Her win in Minnesota proves to me she can keep the interest of the Democrats who went for Trump. Those are the most important voters in here in Colorado that we need to have on board.

For that reason, Hickenlooper would likely be helped by Biden. (Bennet is not up for reelection until 2022). While Hickenlooper is obviously not the only Dem running, he is the most likely candidate to win the nomination (polling with over 60% support currently among Dems).

That said, Colorado went for Sanders in the 2016 caucuses, yet supported HRC in the general with a plurality.

The only recent poll, albeit a small one (Emerson, Aug 20, 2019) had Sen. Bernie Sanders leading with 26% support, Former Vice President Joe Biden comes in a very close second with 25%, and U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren is third with 20%. The margin of error is 4.8%.

.
Hickenlooper has a current strong lead over Gardner: 53:40 in the one projected match poll.

. . . that I believe any of our Democratic Prez candidates would help turn the trick.

More electoral oomph will, I think, ride on which candidate wins the Dem primary.

My pick is Andrew Romanoff, though I think a few others are in contention at the moment.

My ugh-non-pick is Hickenlooper, Mister Lover of Fracking.

Needless to say, I'll be voting straight Dem, all up and down the ticket, come November 2020.

The Public Policy Polling survey released Tuesday (Sept. 10) found that Hickenlooper had the support of 60% of Democratic voters, followed by former state House Speaker Andrew Romanoff, with 9% support. None of the other candidates in the poll — including former state Sen. Mike Johnston, who exited the primary Tuesday — scored above 3% support, and 16% of respondents said they were undecided.

So I don't think it matters much who the Democratic nominee is.

The bigger problem is that Maine has gotten too comfortable with old shoe Susan Collins and probably won't be familiar enough with her opposition.

last time this seat was up with the governor's races was 2008. Hagan won by a huge margin, Perdue for gov by a small margin, and Obama by a very small margin. Cooper appears to be in good shape, Tillis not so much. It would be nice if the presidential candidate carried NC (I think Biden followed by Harris have the best shots) but I don't think it is as necessary here as it would be in a state without a governor's race.
