(10,196 posts)There in lies the rub. As long as the election is on the up and up Trump will lose massively. And I think itll be so lopsided even if and when the repugs cheat, it wont be enough.

Our electronic voting is full of problems and potential fraud on many levels. But if BB, who is facing corruption charges like rump, has lost his edge I want to believe 45 will lose too
Our society is also full of fraud and corruption. Just saw a headline on how wall Street does not want Warren. She is too scrupulous for them, they fear her plans of regulations.
That said, I hate to say what I've perceived since he announced his candidacy.
Biden has the best chance. He's not my choice, but many trust him, see him as safe, not disruptive, and he represents the status quo. We need to change the status quo, and if elected he may be the catalyst.
Some who voted for Trump could easily vote for another old white guy of a certain era. And he's a bit of a buffoon, which the general public seem to embrace. I'd rather have a smart, progressive younger president.
I think Biden is too old, but for the sake of winning we may need to support his candidacy.
I'm leaning towards Warren, but I fear too many will oppose her, for different reasons than they opposed Hillary. Spoke with some right wing nuts the other day, I said I don't think USA is ready for a female president. They disagreed. I said I was impressed with Warren, they liked Tulsi best out of all Dem candidates. I think she's a closet repug, and their opinions reinforced mine.
We need to move forward, not backwards, but America is so damaged by this presidency, and fearful. Biden represents safety to too many.
My question is who should his VP be?

(1,850 posts)I forget that geography is often a factor when choosing the VP candidate. I'd like to see a younger, progressive VP candidate if Biden is the nominee.
Klobuchar is only 60, so not too old and may be a good choice, but she is more moderate than I'd like. Abrams has been suggested by some as a VP, she's from the South. Pete Buttigieg is a possibility, very impressive, and younger.
A funny thought, how about Sanders for VP? Two too old white guys?!? But then he's not from the Midwest or the South.
