This isn't an election we can afford to lose, we can't give Trump 4 more years. And Biden is the only candidate that smokes Trump in every poll that's taken. We can't afford to cut it close.

In the RCP average at this point in 2015, she only led Trump by roughly three points. The race narrowed significantly in Sept., 2015, and while her lead would improve at times in the race on average, she never once hit that sizable cushion again:

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/us/general_election_trump_vs_clinton-5491.html

In fact, the only time she was really above 50% was in April, 2016 - briefly.

People don't seem to realize how settled the race became in late 2015. Lots of incorrect info out there.

But didn’t it show Clinton in 2015 with the same numbers, we need not go by poll numbers and make sure we have grassroot campaign across this country.

That addresses my fear that if we somehow managed to get rid of Trump, it would be harder for a Dem to win in 2020.

Also interesting that 88% of 2016 Trump voters do not regret their choice... and how close that is to the 90% of Clinton voters who do not regret that choice.
